About the Author:

Before I began to write and to paint children's books, I had been working with children as an art therapist for many years. 
I wrote simple rhymes and paired them with colorful shapes and forms. Some of these rhymes I later illustrated for my own four children and that’s how my first children’s book was created.
With my paintings, I would love to show children nature in all its diversity and vitality so that they can gain trust in the world that surrounds and lovingly awaits us. 
I'd like to invite children to immerse themselves in stories that give their little hearts courage, tell of kindness and hope, and inspire their own fantasy.  
Currently, I am living in southern Germany with my husband, surrounded by a colorful garden. Our four children have all left home by now, but the characters from my books are keeping me company in the studio every day. I am looking forward to all the stories and paintings that will come into existence in the future.
