Mhairi Hellbrandt

Hi, I’m Mhairi, an illustrator living and working in Denmark.
I create art the old-fashioned way, with paper, pencils and paint. In an age in which digitalized and AI produced art is increasingly prevalent, I love the texture, atmosphere and uniqueness (and even the mistakes and imperfections) of handmade illustrations. 

My art is inspired by stories, memories of childhood and the changing seasons. With each picture I invite you to enter a world of wonder and imagination, telling a story and inviting you to create your own. 

Stories of all kinds enrich our lives, and I hope my drawings will too – making the everyday a little more joyful, extraordinary and wonderous.
